A Family Legacy in Coffee

The Coffee Exporters Group is a family-run business with more than 60 years' experience of growing, milling and trading coffee in Tanzania. It was set up in 1955 by Mr. BN Vohora and now spans three generations.

Our two coffee farms — Ascona and Edelweiss — are located in Oldeani, Karatu on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. The farms were initially developed by German settlers around 1900, later managed under British administration, and purchased by Mr. BN Vohora in 1969. Three family generations have since managed operations.
