Edelweiss Coffee is roasted on a Probat L12 drum roaster and a Toper TX30 hot air roaster. Our focus is on extracting the subtle nuances that make Edelweiss Coffee a real specialty coffee.

Our roast master holds Q-Grader certification with extensive experience in cup tasting and coffee roasting. Each roast profile is developed to bring out the unique character of our highland-grown beans.

Crafted to showcase the terroir of our highland estate.

Light Roast

Floral, citrus, and tea-like. Highlights the bright acidity of our highest-altitude Arabica lots.

Medium Roast

Balanced sweetness, caramel, and stone fruit. Our most versatile profile for filter and pour-over.

Dark / Espresso

Rich chocolate, smoky undertones, full body. Developed for espresso extraction and milk-based drinks.

Edelweiss Branded Coffee

Our roasted coffee is available under the Edelweiss brand — Tanzania Pure Arabica Coffee, roasted in-country for maximum freshness. We also offer private-label roasting for cafes and retailers looking for a direct estate-to-shelf supply chain.

Every bag is traceable back to the specific lot and harvest date on our estate.

Cupping & Quality Control

The pursuit of excellence in coffee does not stop at roasting. We provide training on various brewing methods including espresso, drip, chemex, and French press, offering guidance to optimise settings for consistent, quality results.

Visiting buyers are welcome to join cupping sessions on the estate — tasting coffee from the same soil it was grown in is an experience no trade show can replicate.
